The word 'Akhanda' means 'forever' or 'endless', 'Jyothi' means 'Light'. As per Sadhguru Sri Sharavana Babajis vision, a one-of-its-kind lamp custom designed and made completely by hand was prepared and consecrated at the MahaMantapam of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba temple. The seven-feet tall lamp is made of Brass, with a capacity to hold about 20 litres of oil, enabling it to burn continuously.
