SRI SHIVA SHAKTHI

/
SRI SHIVA SHAKTHI IDOL

Just behind the Sri Bala Vinayagar idol, nestled at foot of the shade sacred tree facing the Sri Jnaana Dhandayuthapaani Temple is the idol of Sri Shiva and Shakthi fused together in the form or ArdhaNareeshwara. It is the embodiment of female and male energy in unison, which represents the very nature of every creation in this cosmos.

After the pilgrims pay respects to Lord Vinayagar, they circumambulate the tree to find the idol of Sri Shiva Sakthi to offer their prayers. Standing beneath the sacred tree and praying to Lord Shiva Shakthi is an experience that creates goose bumps to most pilgrims. The energy of the sacred hillock, coupled with the serenity of the tree and the gaze of Shiva Shakthi embraces the pilgrims with love and joy.
